May trip

Sorry very late this one, so I will make it quick. Fished last week into the dark on an early flooding tide, really debated whether to use lures or bait with the bait winning. I just wanted to sit the evening out and enjoy the lovely May weather.

Nothing to report other than the bait (squid) being cleanly removed from my hook on nearly every cast. As I was hand holding the rod throughout the session I could feel/tell it was crab, and assume it was early spiders making an appearance. A bit unusual as they haven't been around these parts for some while, maybe something to do with the cold long winter? Who knows.
