Only finding the schoolies
You know the weather forecast is wrong when you try to pour coffee from your flask, and the cup needs to be 4" downwind for it to reach its intended destination. A light breeze my arse. However, I wasn't complaining as these conditions are great for the bigger bass.
Having said that, stormy seas are meant to deter smaller bass, but maybe they weren't expecting the forecast to be wrong either as they were really out in force today. I ended up with 3 (biggest around 3.5lb), and if I had scaled down I would have caught loads.
I'm really starting to enjoy fishing in these conditions, and lets hope the bigger bass make an appearance on the better tides later this month.
