... and one off the bottom

I followed up my last nights trip but conditions were very different. A strong gusting SW kept veering off course making presenting lures very tricky, and with it the surface activity of the last trip had gone completely. However, within the first ten casts I connect with a 2lb+ bass that really fancied a run around. Putting her back, I thought I could be in for a bonanza, but as so often happens I struggled for the next two hours.

Eventually I found if I slowed my retrieve down to a snails pace, effectively dragging the Dolive across the bottom, I was able to get a few knocks - but unfortunately I couldn't make any of them stick.
The nearest I came to a second was feeling the hit and reeling in to find the Dolive blown up the line.
