A Week in September - round up

Had my last trip yesterday, and despite a good effort I never received a touch for the four hours fished. I suppose the luck had to run out at some point. Despite the weather not playing ball it wasn't a bad week, and it's interesting to note the average size of the bait-caught bass at 4lb. If they can remain uncaught it will be another good year class to meet up with again in a few years time.

Looking back at my records, I have said this before, and three years ago both myself and Rob caught a few 6lb+ that I would love to see again, and six years ago I had a run of 7lb+ bass that would now be the stuff of dreams!

Looking forward to a break in the weather for the hunt to continue.
