The run had to end

Normal service resumes. Well it was only a matter of time wasn't it. Went out just prior to the storm really building and fished four hours using one of my favourite ways for bass, standing up, holding the rod with the butt on my hip and my back side-on to the wind.

Apart from the tide being a falling neap everything was perfect, but one tug and the start of a run that failed to develop - nothing happened. An hour after high I decided enough was enough and made my way back home.

Looking forward to the next set of building tides and if the weather doesn't get too cold who knows what may happen.
